BTN ??

Posted by Zhakieya Haenim at 10:42 AM 0 comments
Assalamualaikum,,,,

i just got back from btn-stands for 'biro tatanegara'.

before i joined this program, i read a blog about it and honestly the entry gave 90% bad impression about btn. so,,, i went there with negative perception about btn.

after i finished the course, all the negative energy died,,, why?

1)  95% of the trainees there are all my pre-med friends. yeay! i really had a great time with them. :-)
2)  the btn camp got plenty of water for domestic use. i had a bad experience during my national service with water issues. my friends and i had to save the water for more important use rather than taking a bath as often as we could. so, imagine our smells... (not good). in btn camp, i can't resist cooling down myself by taking a bath every time i saw the water tank. and i did. a lot of time. what a bliss!
3)  the most important part is i got a lot of knowledge from this camp. learning how to think out of the box for prolonging benefits.

i have to admit that they successfully able to brainwash me. it is not a bad thing,,, i guess.

but, being in the outside world once again, it showed you the reality....

how to survive in the outside world? how to save your faith, your families and your country?

what will happen to the our next generation?

why everybody keep fighting when they are from the same root, living in the same country?

it is hard to find the real answers.

but for now, i just can say that,,,,,,

i am proud to be a Malaysian.

Work Experience 1

Posted by Zhakieya Haenim at 12:05 PM 0 comments
Assalamualaikum,,,,

Tonight, I was working as usual as a waitress in a restaurant. there are a lot of customers. all of them are chinese people. then, i saw an indian family looking through the menu in the restaurant. i assumed that they are malaysian but i realized that they are not when they cannot speak in bahasa. they dressed very modestly and i can see that they are trying to save their budget by not ordering any drink. they seem anxious in a place that is strange to them. i felt a tinge of sympathy toward them.

i felt that they got a high pride toward themselves. this is the thing that makes them so special in my eyes.

their daughter can speak well in english, a lot better that me. the father is very respectful and he gave some tips that can be considered high in values, more than other well-dressed customers. his effort to give the tips is admiring. he is very polite too.

working in a restaurant is very interesting. (^^,)

QUEENS BAY MALL !

Posted by Zhakieya Haenim at 9:57 PM 0 comments
Assalamualaikum,,,,

Last saturday, my friend, Atiqah and I went to Queens Bay mall in Penang Island, it was a last minute planning. We arrived there at about 11.00 am. I haven't breakfast yet and my stomach is growling so we just headed to the food court. Ata said that last time she had goose and rice there and it tasted good so we tried searching for it. We failed so we just went to the nearest stall that sell Siamese dishes. Ata ordered rice and scrambled egg while I had rice and fried basil leaves with chicken.

Look nice? I have to be frank now, I suffered a little bit for trying to finishing it. What the heck is basil leaf? I tried to find the Malay definitions of it and i found it. "Kemangi"????? Then I found the other meaning of it- selasih. owh... (still can't figure out about the leaf)

After we filled our tummy, we started to window shopping. I bought this in the first shop we entered...

Cute... but actually I am searching of a pair of earphone for my mobile phone not mp3so unfortunately it did not matched. So I have to go around the mall asking for the cable to connect the earphone to my mobile phone. I almost give up.. lastly, i found it!

yeay!

Then I wandered around to search for my new facial cleanser.. I can't find Watson nor Guardian pharmacy at that time so I have to choose specific brand. I entered Etude House that sells Korea cosmetic and skincare products and I bought this...

look at the paper bag.... PINK! soft pink~

It'S rEAdInG TImE !

Assalamualaikum,,,

Last Wednesday, I went to a book carnival near my college. I really longed to go there after I read my friend's blog post about the carnival. It's not so grand, but I still think that it is interesting.

I walked there with Zue and Amirul Faris. After we reached the carnival, we saw school kids. yes! KIDS only,,, and it made me think twice of entering the place. but still, for my enthusiasm of books, i went there and the first booth that i approached is "Gempakstarz" booth. I restrained myself from buying anything because I think that I can read graphic novels from the internet. but I used to be a fan of this brand. kaoru, zint, keith and etc... great artist. A.F bought 4 graphic novels and he got free Lawak Kampus paperbag. nice!

Zue and I went to Ana Muslim's booth and we lose myself! pink and girlish,, sweet! so I bought some stuffs,,

kawaiii~~~

then I walked around to another booth. PTS booth is quite interesting but I don't feel like buying anything there. I met a lot of pre-medians there. every time i bumped into them, i will excitedly greet them and they will excitedly greet me back. they showed me where to find English novels and it's quite disappointing because the percantage of english novels in the carnival is 1%. but I did choose a novel to take away.

can you see the discount tag??? 50%~  i LOIKE,,,,
it's a thriller novel. actually,, i haven't read it until now. hheh~

on the way to the counter,,, i found kids' books..

again,,, can you see the price?? it cost rm1 per book. so cheap! they even have stickers inside,,

and here are Barbie books! my little sister will love these... lucky girl.

i bought all these for less than rm50. i can even taste the infamous curry puff and not-so-bad strawberry yogurt smoothies. yum2,,,
