Celebrating My 20th Birthday For A week!

Assalamualaikum,,

Last 9th December was my birthday. The word 'birthday' makes it all sweet and joyful but unfortunately, the number 20 turns all of them into bitterness. Bittersweet enough?

Why a week? Because I keep getting presents through a whole week. I'm a happy lady~

Because I had a test on 10th of December, I'm not celebrating it merrily. Just some wishes and hugs. I closed my fb wall so that nobody can post freely on it before and forgot to open it back. People had to try different ways to wish me. Some gave me their wishes through private messages, some friends had to write on their own wall and tagged my name in it, and some even wish on the comment section. I am so touched by their efforts. It means that I had some values in their life. And I forgot to mention, some friends did their wishes on twitter and whatsapp. Talk about technology~ Thanks a million u olls <3

Ice Skating In Cork For The First Time!

Assalamualaikum,,

Last night, my classmates and I went to play ice skating. I really don't know what to expect from this. So, we met at a..... pub at approximately 5.30 pm. We took our hand band from Dan, one of my classmate. This is the first time I entered a place like this in Cork, so I was like, oh maii........ But they are kind and didn't take any drink for respecting us Muslims who are willing to mingle with them. The purpose of this event is to mingle around with the Irish or non-Malaysian, but honestly, I didn't got the talent to mix around with them. Yet, I do have fun!

We hopped on a bus to go to the ice skating rink. The bus was so noisy with us chatting and laughing. We reached our destination. And I was so excited. Because camera is not allowed in the rink, I don't have pictures of us skating and falling. This is my second time in an ice rink, I could say that I'm improving. I even can skate in the middle of the rink, just need to improve some skating skills. Thanks to my partner Fatema, who accompanied me, making me braver and holding me tightly when I was about to fall. And, sorry for making you falling.Kumawoo~

Failte' Freshers 2012- Epilogue

Assalamualaikum,,

Last week, I went to Failte' Freshers, an event held for the first year students. It was an awesome trip to Youghal (pronounciation= yowl), a nice place near Cork. This is the first time I saw a beach in Ireland. Beautiful scenery, exciting activities, and foods,,,,,, terbaek!

Basically the programs are based on a book by Stephen Covey, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
Habit 1- Be proactive
Habit 2- Begin with the end in mind
Habit 3- Put first thing first
Habit 4- Think win-win
Habit 5- Seek first to understand, then to be understood
Habit 6- Synergize
Habit 7- Sharpen the saw
